This was my routine. Open the Pulse dashboard. Find the slow query. Copy it. Paste it into the chat. Go back for the error. Copy again. Paste again.
The agent was smart. It was just blind. Every fix started with me acting as a messenger between two screens.
What changes
Laravel Pulse MCP is a free, open source package. You install it in your Laravel app. Then you connect the AI agent you already use, like Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.
Now you just ask. Ask what is slow in production today. Ask which errors started this morning. Ask if the queue is backing up.
The agent looks at your real Pulse data on its own. Then it opens the exact file and line behind each problem and suggests a fix. No dashboard tabs. No copying.
Safe by design
Production data needs care, so the package is strict by default.
It is off until you turn it on. It can only read, never change anything. Only people you approve can connect, and they sign in through your own app. Sensitive values like tokens in URLs and email addresses are hidden before the agent sees them.
Why this matters
Laravel's hosted monitoring service, Nightwatch, already gives AI agents this kind of access. Pulse is free and self-hosted, and until now it had nothing like it. This package brings the same idea to every app that runs Pulse.
I tested it in my own production app before sharing it, and it works great.
