SaaS product engineering

I build complete SaaS products, including the hard part: the money. Marketplaces, Stripe Connect, and multi-tenant platforms, engineered so payouts and fees are correct and nothing fails silently.

Most of a SaaS is straightforward. The risk lives in multi-party payments, multi-tenancy, and the flows that move real money between your users and your platform. I have shipped and run those systems in production, from an eight-year logistics platform to a multi-sided marketplace built on Stripe Connect, and that is where I do my best work.

Plan your SaaS build Start with a fixed-fee architecture and build plan for your product's payments and core.

What I build

Marketplaces & multi-party payments

Stripe Connect done right: provider onboarding, split payments, platform fees, payouts, and the webhook reliability that keeps every dollar accounted for.

Multi-tenant SaaS platforms

Team-based accounts, roles and permissions, billing, and feature flags, architected to stay clean as you add customers and features.

Rescue & modernize

A stalled or fragile SaaS made reliable: hardened payment flows, real test coverage, and a safe path from a legacy build to a modern Laravel stack.

Built with Laravel, Livewire, Vue and Inertia, Tailwind, PostgreSQL, and Stripe. I pick the stack that fits your product, not a favorite.

How I work on SaaS builds

Start with the business-critical path

Payments, onboarding, roles, permissions, billing, and reporting shape the architecture before the UI polish does. That keeps the product honest.

Design for the second year

A SaaS that survives growth needs clean data boundaries, queues, observability, upgrade paths, and deployment habits that do not depend on one fragile release ritual.

Rescue without pretending it is a rewrite first

For inherited products, I stabilize the risks first, then modernize the architecture in slices that protect customers, revenue, and team momentum.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Yes. I have built multi-party payment systems using Stripe Connect — onboarding, payouts, platform fees, split payments, and reconciliation. I understand the money-path risks: a misdirected payout or a wrong fee calculation becomes a finance emergency, not a bug report.

Yes. I design and build multi-tenant Laravel applications — database-per-tenant, shared-database with tenant scoping, or hybrid — depending on your isolation requirements, compliance needs, and growth trajectory. I also handle tenant provisioning, custom domains, and white-label configurations.

I implement subscription logic with Stripe Billing, including metered and tiered pricing, trial periods, proration, dunning, and invoice generation. The billing engine is one of the few places where a bug directly costs real money, so I treat it with corresponding rigor.

Yes. I have built systems that span Laravel, Node.js, Python, and Go — often because the right tool for a queue consumer or a data pipeline is not the same as the right tool for the web layer. I choose based on the workload, not the comfort zone.

Yes. I step into existing Laravel codebases, map the architecture, identify the reliability risks, and fix them without a rewrite. The deliverable is not a cleaner codebase — it is a product where the money path, data integrity, and deploy pipeline are no longer fragile.
